In 2024, we reinforced this commitment by maintaining a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, and bias. Our efforts in this area were recognized in October 2024, when we once again earned Great Place to Work(R) certification, with 93% of our team affirming that CBL is a great place to work -- 36 points higher than the average U.S. company.

In our most recent engagement survey, 94% of respondents stated CBL is committed to fostering an inclusive culture where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

The mission of CBL Community, an employee-led engagement group, is dedicated to cultivating an environment where every team member, external partner, and visitor feels welcome and included.

  • Developing ongoing educational opportunities that foster open discussion and recognition of the unique perspectives of our team to further cultivate a culture of belonging, mutual respect, and transparency.
  • Establishing partnerships, hosting community events, and other outreach efforts to create an environment of belonging and respect at our properties, ensuring all community members, customers, and retailers feel welcome.
